Please join us as Dr. Alan I. Leshner, speaks to the MATHS community and bioscience leaders about science, education and society.  A complementary lunch will follow Dr. Leshner's lecture.

 

About Dr. Alan I. Lesnher

Dr. Leshner is Chief Executive Officer of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world's largest scientific society and publisher of the journal Science. Prior to joining AAAS, Dr. Leshner held senior level leadership positions at the National Institute of Drug Abuse and the National Science Foundation. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies of Science and was appointed to the National Science Board by President Bush in 2004.
